Bill Minutaglio is an Austin writer and journalist who has held roles such as Dallas Morning News columnist and senior reporter. With several of his works optioned for television and movie production, he is the author of books such as A Single Star and Bloody Knuckles: A History of Race and Politics in Texas (University of Texas Press) and First Son: George W. Bush & The Bush Family Dynasty (Random House/Times Books). Bill Minutaglio’s well-received Molly Ivins: A Rebel Life takes a comprehensive look at one of America’s most respected syndicated political columnists and provocateurs.
Mr. Minutaglio is also the co-author of Dallas 1963, which recaptures the events leading up to President John F. The nonfiction narrative earned him Pen Center USA’s Literary Award and the Writers’ League of Texas’ Nonfiction Book of the Year award.
